More than a package at the construction site

- We are more than a manufacturer and supplier of facade panels. A delivery from Steni is significantly more than having some pallets with facade panels delivered at the construction site, says Ola Harildstad Olsen in Steni.

For Steni, collaboration is a keyword. The company will be a partner that offers its customers a range of services to make the planning, logistics and assembly work as easy as possible.

From A to Z

We are happy to participate in projects from A to Z. The sooner we join, the better it is for all parties, both financially and for the implementation of the project. When we collaborate with an architect, builder, contractor and building product distributor - and together we adapt and optimize the solutions, both time and money are saved in the project, says Harildstad Olsen. Steni has a very advanced continuous production that allows for adaptation of the facade panels (cutting, drilling etc.) in speed "online". This means that formats and drilling patterns can to a large extent be adapted to the customer's wishes. Which gives significantly less cutting and shrinkage at the construction site, saving both time and money when installing the facade panels.

Pre-drilling saves working time at the construction site.

Saves time and money

Harildstad Olsen says that Steni can also label both pallets and facade panels - which is becoming increasingly in demand - to ensure good logistics and save assembly time at the construction site.

- It's almost always cramped on a construction site, and good material management, in collaboration with the contractor, makes the installation job both easier and quicker.
Good material management means planning in collaboration with the customer, labeling and packaging of pallets and plates, pre-cutting, pre-drilling and complete delivery at the agreed delivery time.

- With good material management, the developer saves both time and money, he says.

The pallets with facade panels are covered with plastic and sealed before transport.

Marking both plates and pallets makes things easier for the person to assemble.

Predictability

Then there is one more thing. For larger projects, we often agree on installation instructions at the construction site with the contractor. This means that we arrive at the construction site when the assembly is to start and take a review with those who are going to do the work. Then we ensure that our assembly instructions are followed and at the same time reduce the possibility of unnecessary "surprises" during the assembly, says Ola Harildstad Olsen.
